Active Attacker Training
Shamgar Security Solutions offers in-person training to provide Virginia residents with vital skills to respond effectively in active violence situations. This comprehensive course teaches participants how to assess threats, take protective action, use lifesaving self-aid and buddy-aid techniques, and confidently move toward safety during an active assailant event.
This training goes beyond basic awareness — it focuses on practical strategies and hands-on practice that empower individuals to act decisively when confronted with dangerous, high-stress situations. Participants will learn proven methods for personal protection, emergency decision-making, and how to support others in crisis.
By completing AVIRT training, individuals enhance not only their own safety, but also the safety of coworkers, families, and community members. This training delivers real-world value through practical skills that increase preparedness and resilience.

In-person walkthrough inspecting doors, locks and windows, traffic flow and egress, plus Child Protection Plan review, financial policy review and SOP review — delivered with a written report of findings.
